Work Drugs-Boogie Lights
I swear Philadelphia duo Work Drugs just keep on coming out with one hit after another and every track seems to get smoother than the last. They’ve just put out a new single and finally released a little bit more information about their sophomore release which is great to hear. The album will be titled Absolute Bearing and is scheduled to drop sometime during July. “Boogie Lights” is the fourth track from the LP and though I’m not quite sure what the genre label sedative wave means it makes sense after hearing this song. It’s mellow, sensual, and it follows suit of “Lisbon Teeth” by having that slight jazz aspect about it. Aermote also lends her beautiful vocals to this song as well which makes it that much better. It’s evident that summer has started just by hearing the material that various artists have released lately and now “Boogie Lights” can be added to the list. You can listen to more from Absolute Bearing while we all wait for July on Work Drugs’ soundcloud page as well as hearing tons of other tracks. Also, don’t forget to visit bandcamp to grab the debut LP Aurora Lies, their EP Summer Blood, and more.
